Following is an updated list of the pre-draft visits or tryouts that have been held or scheduled by the New Orleans Saints with college prospects. NFL teams are allowed to visit with an unlimited number of local prospects, plus up to 30 non-local prospects. Clearly, the Saints are taking a look at several different position groups and several different levels of prospects, so it's impossible to read anything into their intentions. Also, teams often purposely avoid meeting with some of their most coveted players to throw other teams off the scent. Texas CB Curtis Brown (National Football Post) USC TE Jordan Cameron (Times-Picayune) Fresno State DE Chris Carter (Pro Football Talk) Syracuse RB Delone Carter (National Football Post) Tulsa TE Charles Clay (National Football Post) Southeastern Louisiana S Tommy Connors (NewOrleans.com) TCU QB Andy Dalton (FoxSports.com) Illinois WR Jarred Fayson (National Football Post) Washington linebacker Mason Foster (National Football Post) Millsaps WR Michael Galatas (Times-Picayune) LSU S Daniel Graff (Times-Picayune) Oklahoma State RB Kendall Hunter (National Football Post, Pro Football Talk) Alabama RB Mark Ingram (Times-Picayune) California DE Cameron Jordan (Pro Football Talk, FoxSports.com) Northwestern State S Lance Lacoste (NewOrleans.com) Appalachian State S Mark LeGree (Pro Football Talk) LSU DT Drake Nevis (Times-Picayune) South Alabama WR Courtney Smith (Pro Football Talk) Colorado CB Jimmy Smith (National Football Post) North Carolina LB Quan Sturdivant (National Football Post) Baylor DT Phil Taylor (Pro Football Talk) Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor (Pro Football Talk) Southern Arkansas DT Cedric Thornton (Pro Football Talk) Temple DT Muhammad Wilkerson (NFL Network, Pro Football Talk) Updated list of New Orleans Saints' pre-draft visits | NOLA.com Last edited by papz; 12-24-2011 at 07:46 PM.. |

Going defense and it looks like we are going to get a RB and a QB to groom in the later rounds.

Drake Nevis is an early 2nd rounder. I wouldn't mind picking him up if he falls.
As for as this list.....I'm with strato..... this is a smokescreen. I really don't see us seriously looking at guys like Tyrod Taylor. LOL. |
