this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think we're gonna take a measley 4-game suspension into account when selecting a 1st round draft pick. There should be plenty of last-gasp vets available that could fill in nicely for 3 or 4 games if neccessary....

I doubt a rookie picked 24th is going to start in place of Smith. It'll probably be Galette, Charleston, Wilkerson or Brown before they throw a rookie in there.

Jordan is injury free and has been groomed for success in the NFL. Jordan is versatile which works good for Williams and for me.
