I know stupid post like this one are the reasons rumors get started, but I can't help but wonder and ask for everyones opinion.

Unless there are some draft picks in there somewhere, hell no. In Bledsoe, you have us looking for a future replacement almost immediately, same as if you benched Brooks and started looking for another QB.

I feel a little differently, I believe Bledsoe would give us two years and a chance to win a championship now, along with time for maybe someone with the first name Eli and last name of Manning sit for a couple years

But its not gonna happen, so i guess it really doesnt matter

I think there will be some scenario\'s like that even in Loomis\'s office and in Benson\'s head .

I personally like a 2 part trade scenario :

Haslett to Buffalo for a linebacker or other player in the option , the could use the old for future considerations clause in the N.F.L if a coach cannot be traded for a player . Modrak is intelligent enough to think of something .

Then Brooks and the number 1 to Arizona or San Diego for their no.1 .Either the Cardinals or the Chargers , which ever is worse then gets an experienced player and does not have to take a gamble . This might look real good to the Chargers after the Leaf pick .

The Saints then get a legacy quarterback with talent , that draws interest within the Mississippi region to boost sales ala Eli Manning . The Saints are then in control of the time table to pursue another Head Coach and still have the rights to the current staff .

Saban would be a local impact coach , and the current staff if he is willing could take some of the edge off the N.F.L. head coaching transition .Saints win because of Boosted national names added to the team .

I\'m liking the ideas of adding a Manning to this roster because they have without a doubt proven that they can win. Not to sure about adding Saban, eventhough he has proven he\'s a defensive genius, don\'t wanna end up like the Redskins and Spurrier. But a Brooks-less team next year does sound great.

I\'d trade Haslett and Brooks to the Bills for a bag of peanuts. The Saints don\'t need anything in return. Getting rid of Haslett only helps. It gives them a chance to find a solid replacement who knows how to coach. Dumping Brooks rids us of a $36 million dollar bust of a QB that, let\'s face it, NO other team will take from us at that salary. The Saints are going to eat it BIG time on Brooks. They NEVER should have signed him to that long term contract before last season. With the injury and the meltdown we could have resigned him this offseason for half of what we\'re paying him. Great move Saints.

They\'ll learn from this season and be better for it next year.
Alright Gator .

Let\'s see what they learned from December crunch time last year . The offensive triple threat of :

Horn - He learned how to drop balls in the end zone .
Duece - He learned how to distinguish 9 men in the box , wish he would teach Brooks .
Brooks - He learned how to not protect the ball and how not to avoid a rush .

Teach them a great lesson , send Brooks to San Diego and teach the others , that if you want the Big bucks like you demanded and held out for then you had better perform in December or you wind up the next year on a bad team .......

The Bledsoe deal isn\'t going to happen. If I were Buffalo, I\'d make a real push for TO this off-season. Bledsoe plays the kind of game that gets the ball to TO a lot, Moulds needs a legitimate catching threat to get rid of all the double coverage, and Bledsoe is tough enough to just check down to Moulds if he doesn\'t feel like putting up with TO\'s theatrics and TO would know it.

Brunell might be very attractive for us if we wanted to draft someone at QB this year though.

Just for fun, I totally disagree with hiring Coughlin though. Not a good idea, seriously.

I do think Romeo Crennel DC at New England might be a very good choice though. He could be head coach and start his own Krewe too, Imagine, The Krewe of Romeo--how cool would that be?
