Couple of things to take from this years Draft.

- Mickey Loomis is becoming one of the best GMs in the league.

- Two easy wins in Carolina. Coming from a easier worded offense to a complex offense won't be easy task for Cam. You won't see him or his 55 million dollars on the field this year!!!!!

- Atl wants to win now. And they think they have to be a scoring machine to do it. Even Ricky Williams looks better than Julio Jones.

- SP wants Greg Williams to get after the qb.

- I hate the lockout.

Loomis and staff do their home work!

I am still surprised we got the guys we did sitting in our spots where we were. These guys should have been gone way before our picks.

I agree, was thinking the same thing Loomis and the staff pulled a few out of the hat that I thought would be gone. One big advantage The Saints had this draft was a list of specific needs, not like we were rebuilding a team. Most of the weak spots we had last season will have some new faces this year. And Loomis make make the final deals but you have some pretty smart football people piping in the input.

I see the lockout hurting Carolina since they won't be able to coach up Cam.
For veteran teams it shouldn't be as much as a problem.

Never thought about it like that but you're right. Cam is not polished at all.
