I think whether or not we bring back Sharper will have a lot of say in whether Robinson breaks out this year. I think he'll have a good year and 2012 will be the season where he becomes our best cornerback.

Benson would never spend the money required to secure someone like NA.

Besides, we still got Moore unsigned, Harper unsigned, Nicks unsigned, and a year from now Brees soon to be free agent.
You lose Brees ( whos gonna demand at least 100 million dollar contract ) cause you paid Nmandi then we turn into the Raiders. Seriously, you think Nmandi better than brees. |

Didn't say that they weren't. A free Agent can a depth to something that is supposedly good already and make it better. You can get free agents to pull up your bottom line ( Torrence and Gay) BTW Those corners have something ours don't height and consistency!!!! Have Porter or Greer played full seasons since becoming Saints? How many games did P. Rob miss last year because of injury? BTW Greer is good not great, he really got picked on. Also getting one more vet DB allows you to drop the dead weight. Taylor and Rodgers are better the Gay and Torrence. You can add Jonathan Joseph to my wish list. |

Nnamdi's last contract ( Raider's are idiots ) was 3 years 45 million dollars, and because of all the teams vying for his services.....
Houston, Philadelphia, Lions, Giants that price isn't going anywhere. I don't know who his agent is but if it Drew Rosenhus. He pitts the teams against each other to see where he can get the best deal and fit for the player. Where ever he goes he's gonna wanna finish his career there. Nnamdi I think will be 30 by time NFL start back up. So were talking 4-5 years at maybe about 15 mil per. Quick math that 60 mill over 4 years by Raiders numbers. Thats to much money to give to one corner if you already have decent or better than decent corners. |
