You can see/hear that Heath Evans is a smart guy. The kind of guy that fits well in the Sean Payton script. I hope he stays around. There would be one less linebacker available to make a play. I like what he brings on and off the field. He looks like he doesn't even need shoulder pads.

I didn't even consider Evans not being here next year. He's a great player and leader but the FB position is losing relevance in the NFL.

Would the Saints keep him with four good RB's in the backfield?
If it came down to deciding whether to keep Evans or Bush, with roster space being so precious, I'd like to think that the Saints would consider it an easy decision to make. Evans brings more to the team and doesn't have to be coddled.
