I think Greg Williams was pissed we didn't seem to be able to stop the run when he wanted to. So getting some run stuffers on running downs was important and not only that if he can cause some disruptions on the line it will create an open lane for a speedster LB or DB to blitz

thats what i'm thinkin eup. stop the run de with a few sacks here and there is nice.

And it isn't just sacks, this kid will occupy blockers and collapse the pocket. His presence will help others improve their their sack totals (ditto for Rogers), because he'll force the QB to step backwards right into the jaws of Will Smith or any of our RDEs, instead of stepping up and avoiding it.
