Hard to Keep Pierre Thomas off the Field in 2011

This guy is everything you want in a RB and these videos prove it.
  • Power to run through arm tackles.
  • Great leg drive.
  • Hard to bring down.
  • Doesn't fumble.
  • Great vision.
  • Follows and sets up blockers well.
  • Speed to the outside.
  • Stop and go in traffic.
  • Great Cut back ability.
  • Great on screen passes.
  • Picks up blitz.
  • Finishes plays and will not be denied.
  • Fun to watch.
These videos prove that PT23 is the Saints best All Around Running Back.
It's going to be hard to keep him off the field.
If he is 100% in 2011, he will be the started in my opinion.
When PT23 is in the game you have no idea what the Saints are going to do.

Watching these videos makes you realize what was missing in 2010.

Very Good post FF

Nice. Perfect combination of power, agility, speed, finesse, and whatever other attributes you want to throw in there. Throw in a couple of half decent blocks and he going to get through just about anything. Having a QB that can toss a bean bag in a mason jar from 10 ft away doesn't hurt either.

And just imagine, Ingram is very similar to Pierre, but with more speed, more balance, and more power.

Wow.

The we bring in the Ivory Tusk Sledgehammer to pulverize a weakened defense.

And oh yeah, as they start to cheat up, we have this guy at QB who just might make them pay dearly.

Wait... didn't we draft both Gayle Sayers and Emmitt Smith.

"unstoppable" comes to mind when I think of how to describe our offense.

I can't wait to see them lined up in the backfield on the same play.

YouTube - Reggie Bush NFL Highlights

Agree with absolutely everything except vision. He has lousy field vision. He doesn't set up his blockers weel, often simply outrunning them into a tackle, and cuts left when cutting right looks open, and running backwards when its obvious he won't avoid the onslaught.

I'd say his vision is his worst enemy.

Other than that, awesome analysis.

Reggie has great vision but he tries to do too much and the pro game is too fast for his style because he can't break arm tackles. The problem isn't vision. When he's in the open field, he has the vision to take it to the house. This is what make him great in college... that and his speed. You don't get drafted #2 overall without vision.

In any case, I can agree with your point and it really should say "sometimes". :bng:

I wonder if he had vision when he dated KK?
