this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; This guy is everything you want in a RB and these videos prove it. Power to run through arm tackles. Great leg drive. Hard to bring down. Doesn't fumble. Great vision. Follows and sets up blockers well. Speed to the ...

Hard to Keep Pierre Thomas off the Field in 2011
This guy is everything you want in a RB and these videos prove it.
It's going to be hard to keep him off the field. If he is 100% in 2011, he will be the started in my opinion. When PT23 is in the game you have no idea what the Saints are going to do. Watching these videos makes you realize what was missing in 2010. |

Nice. Perfect combination of power, agility, speed, finesse, and whatever other attributes you want to throw in there. Throw in a couple of half decent blocks and he going to get through just about anything. Having a QB that can toss a bean bag in a mason jar from 10 ft away doesn't hurt either.

And just imagine, Ingram is very similar to Pierre, but with more speed, more balance, and more power.
Wow. The we bring in the Ivory Tusk Sledgehammer to pulverize a weakened defense. And oh yeah, as they start to cheat up, we have this guy at QB who just might make them pay dearly. |

I'd say his vision is his worst enemy. Other than that, awesome analysis. |

In any case, I can agree with your point and it really should say "sometimes". |
