Hey Guys and Gals
My boss gave me a 2004 Donruss Elite Lineage Card signed by Archie, Peyton and Eli on Friday. I asked him how much I owed him because I know the card is worth alot but he said I didn't owe him a dime. First of all I have a great boss and second I was like a little kid when he gave it to me. I was smiling all day long and I couldn't stop showing it to everyone.
I could only find a price for the card on one site and it said it was worth $500.00. Does anyone have any contacts that could confirm how much it's worth. and yes this is Saints related because Archie signed the card and he's obviously wearing his Saints uniform. |

I don't regularly buy and sell sports merchandise so I'm no expert but consider this: my bank had a promotion that allowed you to "earn" points based on credit card use. Eventually I had enough for a Manning Passing Academy football signed by either Peyton or Eli. If I would have had a few more points I could have had a football signed by all the Mannings (no longer "in stock" of course). So I just got some headphones. I saw those headphones in a store here for $50.
I think I'd rather have the MPA triple signed football than a card but in any case I don't see how the card is worth so much more than the ballparkish area noted above. Maybe a book or website says it is but unless I see someone shell out the cash I don't believe it. EDIT: I keep all the Saints cards people give me and none are as nice as yours. Hope you plan to keep it. |

You're looking at 225.00usd max with a local enthusiast...
The card without signatures is less than 2.00usd... Problem is - Manning(s) signature(s) is one of the most (warning/Major Disappointment) counterfeit signatures in all of sports because of high demand and without authenticity (i.e. Pic of you with them (you holding recently signed card) at say the Manning Passing Academy down the road from me at Nicholls State in Thibodaux, LA where they are most likely to be together in one place). I've got legit Manning signatures (going back to when Archie attended a Bank opening) but never appraised very high; but are still among my most prized possessions (that survived Katrina) and are figured prominently in the Man Cave... |

Thanks guys. I wasn't planning on selling it, I was just really curious about how much my boss really thinks of me and at any rate I think he likes me and in this economy it pays for the boss to like you. I've got alot of Saints Autographs. My Saints Flag has about 20 signature's on it including Drew and Tom Benson. I got it signed at the Falcons Monday night game a couple of years ago. I've got Deuce, Dempsey, Archie, Will Smith, Roman Harper, Sedrick Ellis, Zach Strief and many more. I'm keeping all my Saints stuff but if you know of anyone wanting to see let me know.
