You are absutely right Saintfan. I recommend that everybody go to a live hockey game. I take that back, you need to go to at least 5-10 live hockey games, even if it's a minor league team. If you go to just one, you may never go back because you don't know the rules, you can't keep up with what's going on, and if you blink, you may miss a score. But the action on the ice is very fast and very furious. And it takes several games just to half way figure out what's going on. And the fans, the fans are the most rabid fans you will ever see at any sporting event. When you have 4000 crazy people, even the kids, screaming "HEY, YOU SUCK" all in unison, you know you've found a place to have fun. Even if you don't understand the game, the fans make the tickets worth the price. The fans are also great people. If you don't understand the game, most of them don't mind, even like, to explain the rules, and explain the action taking place on the ice.

Hockey schmockey...

and I'm like you, Danno...ignorant to the rules. Pretty hard to know anything about hockey when you're and old fart who grew up on the Gulf Coast. I had plenty of football, baseball, basketball, and track stuff piled all in my closet...but not even a hockey ball.
