I fall in the "or not" category. I forgot about all that litigation stuff...Finks must have really played hardball with him...but I always got the impression that he was being a baby about the way things worked out for him and decided he would "take his ball and go home."
I think everybody knows what it cost us after Mora or the Bronco's owner decided Fourcade wasn't good enough to play in the NFL. (I threw that Bronco's owner in there because I remember him making some sort of comment about him not being an NFL caliber QB) That came after they decided he was good enough to beat Bobby out. What happened?
I remember that season that Fourcade started the season #1 while Bobby was nowhere to be found. Mora caved to the pressure of having a scab as a starting QB and then came the trade for Walsh, who everybody wanted and didn't want that turd Aikman, and we finally recovered around 2006.
Regardless...with everything that happened...I could've welcomed Bobby back, I suppose...if not for that one ill-advised flight off the field that obviously was aimed at Mr. Finks but we, as fans, had no way of knowing that and I, as one fan, will never forget. Sorry Bobby. :(
