I think everybody knows what it cost us after Mora or the Bronco's owner decided Fourcade wasn't good enough to play in the NFL. (I threw that Bronco's owner in there because I remember him making some sort of comment about him not being an NFL caliber QB) That came after they decided he was good enough to beat Bobby out. What happened? I remember that season that Fourcade started the season #1 while Bobby was nowhere to be found. Mora caved to the pressure of having a scab as a starting QB and then came the trade for Walsh, who everybody wanted and didn't want that turd Aikman, and we finally recovered around 2006. Regardless...with everything that happened...I could've welcomed Bobby back, I suppose...if not for that one ill-advised flight off the field that obviously was aimed at Mr. Finks but we, as fans, had no way of knowing that and I, as one fan, will never forget. Sorry Bobby. |

So, it's Bobby Hebert's fault we don't have football this year. LOL

I'm glad this finally came up with the current situation. I was too young to remember what happened but I do remember being upset with Finks for letting Bobby walk and cringing watching him suit up with the Falcons. Even as a kid I knew Finks and Benson screwed up royally.

bobby did score first against the vikings, dave wilson finally put bobby to shame coming off the bench in place of kramer, carter did the rest of the damage with returning a punt for a record 80 something yards.
