I really like the Saints uniform...tied for first, IMO.
In college, Ole Miss has it going on with the uniforms. I have always loved the way they mixed and matched their color schemes. They have red, blue, and white jerseys...and they all look great with the grey pants. I believe they also have two different colors for the helmets. Usually they are Navy blue, but I believe I have seen a powder blue helmet in the past. Am I crazy, or has anyone else seen the powder blue helmets? |

I like the true gold color instead of the yellow-gold colors.
I don't like the little Louisiana's on the sleeves. I love the Saints helments and am glad that never really changed over the years other than the true gold vs. yellowish gold color. I would not like the stripes for now. These look dated (tube socks),1970's. I like the current uniforms. Black, true gold, white. Not too much additional stuff on the uniforms. |

you know, I do like the Louisiana's myself, and I think they need a Mississippi for the other sleave. MS loves the Saints.

I really do think the black jersies and gold pants are the best uniforms in the NFL and maybe in pro sports.

Re: Saints Uniforms over time
Bumping an old thread b/c that is a great link in the OP to all the team's uni's through the years.
For me the gold pants almost always look best. And I really like the solid black stripe. And this is probably a minority opinion, but I also like the old Louisiana logo on the pants stripe. The black pants are okay w/ the white jersey, but I really don't like the black jersey and black pant combo...looks like a unitard. I like true gold and the helmets, jersey numbers, and pants should all be the same color gold (I never understood the whole yellow font, gold helmet combo). For the jerseys, I like both the black and white and I like the Fleur de lis on the sleeve. Finally, please for the love of all that is good get rid of the disco collar/neck roll thing that the uniforms had last year. |
