Lots of players want to be Saints because they're annual contenders and play an up-tempo style on both offense and defense. Royal, 33, was released by Cleveland in February. He's lost all semblance of playmaking ability. SaintsSource: New Orleans Times-Picayune Jul 1, 2:28 PM Chills just ran down my spine thinking about how far we've come and progressed. I agree - the Saints are now an organization that other players would love to play for. But I think Robert Royal's main reason is because he's from here. Either way, Who Dat!

I hope we never forget the Aints
Never forget where you came from and how you got here. I have nothing against the younger/newer fans that weren't Saints fans during that miserable era, but I have a unique kinship with those fans that stayed AINTS fans through it all. Yes, we were the Aints, and I will never forget. |
