As the next series of labor talks in the 2011 NFL Lockout ended this past week, there is constant optimism that both sides are coming closer and closer to striking a deal. If one can be made before the end of July, then training camps can possibly start on time. That is of course after the chaos that free agency surely will be ends and that means the New Orleans Saints face a number of decisions to make.
No-one really knows just how things will go when the lockout ends. There isn't anyone who knows when that will be either, but rumors are circulating that free agency will be rapid fire once business resumes. Reports have circulated of a possible 48-72 hour window for teams to negotiate with their own free agents before they are allowed to speak with other teams.
