this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think the Pack still have the best team in the league and will probably repeat. With that said we are pretty good as well. Pack 33 Saints 27...

My early hunch is that it will be a lot like the Vikings season opener was...all hyped up to the skies and seems really tough on paper and then, you get in there and wow, kind of a boring game. If they lose, hey, it's just one game out of sixteen, almost still preseason, it's on to the next opponent. If they win, the Saints are WORLD BEATERS and it's totally GAME ON for the rest of the year and sights squarely set on the Super Bowl. Best of all possible worlds. I predict they will be loose and having fun, one of those road games where you can see Payton kind of revels in the crowd reaction when the Saints pull their stuff out the trick bag and set off the fireworks. Saints 31, Packers 24, somethin' like that.
