New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter recovering well from offseason knee surgery
New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter is expecting to be healed from offseason knee surgery in time for the start of the regular season, according to trainer Wyatt Harris. Harris, who trains Porter at the Sonic Boom conditioning and strength training academy in Jefferson, said Porter has been running and doing "all of his functional movement," such as backpedaling and change of direction work.
Meanwhile, Harris said Saints receivers Robert Meachem and Marques Colston are fully recovered from their offseason surgeries. Colston had a microfracture surgery to repair cartilage around his right kneecap following the 2010 season. And Meachem had surgery to repair a lingering left ankle injury. Full article below.
