drew brees crawford???
so....my girlfriend is pregnant. wasnt planned, of course, but, i've always told her if i ever have a kid (son or daughter) im going to name him/her Drew Brees Crawford. First name: Drew Middle name: Brees Last name: Crawford. the crazy part is, she's a bears fan, and she's going to let me do it.
am i going too far w/ this? will this bite me in the ass when drew plays for the fal-coons in two years or when he tries to steal back all his sports memorabelia from a convention in vegas 15 years from now???? i already have my one and only tattoo "2/7/10" on my wrist. am i nuts for loving the saints this much? |

I think if he was born at our within a few weeks of the Superbowl win then I would say yes. If she likes Chicago, name him "Al Capone Crawford" and see what her reaction is. |

How pregnant is she? Any chance the baby could be born on February 5th, the day of our Two-Dat?

We all know Drew is more than likely (knock on wood) to finish his career in New Orleans. I would wait to see what kind of long term deal he signs with the Saints too. I mean, if he re-negotiates this year and signs a 5 or 6 year deal, he is probably going to finish here. Drew is a standup guy and has great character. We go to the SB this year...its a no brainer.

Ew. You made a baby with a BEARS FAN?!? I'm sorry. : [
All joking aside, it is kinda cool the kid's initials will be DBC, cause the "other" Drew's initials are DCB. : ) |

I think Drew is an excellent role model for kids, and we all know he's rare in that regard. I could see using "Drew"...personally I'd use the middle moniker to honor someone in my own family, but to each his own to be sure.
One this is for sure, Drew isn't going to be less of a person should he end up playing for another team before he retires...well, unless it's the Failclowns. LOL |

Just think it's going to suck if he leaves New Orleans... then you're going to resent that kid.
