Couldn't agree more. Don't think we've seen the best of Usama Young yet.

got beat by Garcon on that touchdown in XLIV, and if I remember correctly, it was like, dang, he was only in on that one play, and Peyton Manning spotted it and carved us apart
Wouldn't mind to keep him here, but I get the vibe from him, that Usama is a journeyman type guy. Not really a team-identity or THE FUTURE OF THE FRANCHISE type of guy. |

I think one of the Un-drafted S we are going to sign will take his place, also I have a felling saints may get sharper back.

Not only the Super Bowl but the Giants game too and it wasn't even Eli throwing. TD just as soon as he got on the field. Seems like my only memories of the guy are him getting burned. Buh-bye.

Good point Danno. He was playing CB when he was burned so badly. Which is why he's playing safety. He's still learning safety and is good on special teams. He also plays a position we are very thin at. Look how well it worked for Jenkins. That being said I wouldn't miss him.

But if the 2011 version of Sharper looks like the 2010 version, I'll take Usama. Father time may have caught up to Darren. |
