Saints agreed to terms with OLB Will Herring on a three-year contract.
Herring has made just seven starts in his first four NFL seasons, operating mostly as Seattle's fourth linebacker. He should enter a competition with Jonathan Casillas, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, and Martez Wilson at each of the outside spots. We'd avoid the Saints' linebackers in IDP leagues aside from MLB Jon Vilma. He played for Auburn... which is why his name kept ringing a bell for me. Other than that, I can't say I know much about him.

You know... we found Shanle out of nowhere in '06 and he gave us multiple solid years. This could be another low key solid addition to our squad.
