Brad Smith (NYJ) - WR/KR/QB/RB Ok most people probably do not see the Jets much in New Orleans. Living in Boston I watch the Jets and the Giants way more than I wish I had too. This guy is is nothing more than on of the best athletes I have seen play football. To bad he has never worked on anyone position. I have to throw him in the mix because … well I like everything I have seen from him on the field. Once again KR abilities that saints dearly miss. http://blackandgold.com/blogs/hagan7...a-options.html ok we loss speed big time. here is my replacement pick up if this deal goes through. |

Still wish he would reconsider and take the pay cut to stay in NOLA. Miami can't be offering him that much.

Sounds like a Win-Win for the Saints actually..
I like what could turn out for us here, I don't see any reason why Bush would try to hurt the Saints who gave him his ring and a chance to be a superstar.. his star has faded.. Saints will have a huge arsenal to replace Reggie bush with ease, i like the fact it's not in the division. |

It's all about money for Reggie just as it would be for 99% of you out there. In fact...it has to be more about money for Reggie than any of us normal working stiffs. What's the average career for an NFL RB?
Now...it would be a real story if Reggie did stay in NO for less money. I think the best we can hope for now is that Reggie hooks up with us in the twilight of his career just so he can end his career as a Saint. |

When he has to play in the cold @ Buffalo, Jets and New England, I hope he asks himself. "What was I thinking?"

Kind of quick on the Bye Bye trigger.
I still think N.O. is the best place for Reggie's talents but... If they give him that 11 mil as a signing bonus and upwards of 5 mil a year, he has to pocket that money. I'm pretty sure we are not going to go above 3 or 4 per year. |

Sorry to see him go, but there is a lot of other talent that is better at running downhill, picking up the blitz and can catch the ball 95% as well. His yards per touch were not all that impressive and his propensity for the untimely big mistake were just too hard to watch.
