Saints in hunt for Cullen Jenkins

NFL Networks Jason LaCanfora hears the Saints are in the mix for free agent DE Cullen Jenkins, along with the Cowboys.

Jenkins would seem to be a luxury in NOLA, where Shaun Rogers and Shaun Ellis form a fine duo inside. The Redskins figure to bow out on Jenkins after locking up Stephen Bowen, though the Broncos are expected to make a run.

It would not surprise me if Smith has another off year....they are trying to up-grade that spot. I would be happy to get Jenkins but I think we are the long shot.
