Doesn't matter who you have in the secondary, if you can't apply a pass rush a receiver will get open. Fix the pass rush (which I think will be done with Rogers) and the defense is set. Rogers should occupy 2 linemen to allow someone to get to the QB.

While some CB's will give you a second or two more coverage, that difference typically equates to big money. That same money applied to the front end of the defense will yield better results. Gimme the best pash rush in the NFL and you can win with two Jason freakin' Davids playing CB. Conversely if you have the worst pass rush in the NFL, you'll lose even with an Asamugha and Revis at CB, IMO |
