You have to give them credit for being the 1st dedicated to sports only. Ya gotta love Chris "Boomer" Berman...or hate. Either way... I can't remember who does their Sunday broadcast...but I'm pretty sure that NFLN has Deion Sanders...uggghhhhh. They might even have Michael Irvin...double uggghhhhh. I could be wrong...memory fading for an old man. I don't like Jamie Dukes, either. |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

You're not always going to like what you're going to hear... but the fact of the matter is, ESPN is mainstream's creme de la creme when it comes to sports coverage. Sure the material has saturated over the years... but in part b/c we're spoiled by the in depth coverage over the internet and individual sports coverage channels on Direct TV. It's more for entertainment and to pass time these days.
It was at it's best when Dan Patrick, Keith Olbermann, Chris Myers among the other old schoolers were running anchor there. |

A lot of commercials and about a nanosecond of decent programming inbetween a bunch of nonsense?
Yea, that oughta do it. |
