if we resign Goodwin, Strief, D Thomas, and Nicks. Nicks should be easy. Then I will give him A

We may be a little hit and miss in free agency, but we rarely overpay and preserve our ability to resign the guys we really need to keep around, like Lance Moore. A convincing B.

I would give an A for trades as we have made some good ones in recent years, especially the Vilma trade.

I give him an A... but I don't think he's the smartest in the class. Definitely up there though.

From what I've seen this year he's doing well at covering his bases. If he resigns Sharper I'll be even more excited after finding out Nicks is coming back. I would like Strief back but if he goes I'm still giving Loomis an A.

There is still alot to be done, but I gotta go with an A. Getting Nicks, Moore, Harper and Bushrod back was very important. No one has been overpaid, signing alot of low risk - high reward guys.

B+ - No brainer at this point. Resign current players.
Give him the + for the way the Bush trade when down.

The guy is doing a wonderful job I give him A+ from what he's done over the years the talent he brought to New Orleans and a lot of these player want to play here and they want to be here.

He did a real good so far.. We have resigned many that we needed to.. We got rid of Reggie, If we could just sign a OLB ... then I would give him an A+..
Though New England and Philli did outstanding jobs... We did pretty well ourselves.... GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!

I gotta give him an A, but not an A+ yet, I love the Shaun Rodgers sign, and the Sproles sign. I would hope to get goodwin signed especially after nicks signed a tender, and strief a 1 year. also why is CAM JORDAN not signed and in camp. Lastly I kinda still wish he would look into Rocky Mcintosh at the OLB for some much needed vet competition!!

Mickey is a slacker, hes just the worst GM ever.hehehehehhe. just kidding, I think hes done a fantastic job and I trust his decisions with personnel. We'll be fine.

He has done a really standup job IMO, signing some vets to fill holes in our team, trading Bush yet still getting a Bush-like player in return, resigning some key guys that help our team out in many ways. He knows that free agency isnt about signing all of them top free agents (Eagles) but its about taking a look at your team and finding the best way to put a productive and efficient team together

I changed my mind. I gave him a B before signing Franklin and re-signing Thomas. Now, I say A. And if we can bring in a Lofa Tatupu or Ernie Sims to finally push Shanle out of the rotation I'll give him an A+++.

Realistically hes LAWRENCE VICKERS away from an A+ ill give hum a B+

He deserves an A for what has been done so far... Now bringing in Franklin to seal up the middle.... Maybe we can pick up Banta-Cain or Bobby Carpenter at OLB..

I am super impressed. The Franklin signing is unreal. Our Dline will be great. If Shaun Rogers is here to play-wow. I think he will be, coming from Detroit and Cleveland. I hope our Lb's holdup because Shanle scares me.

The Goodwin/Frisco signing is why I give an "I" and why it stays an "I"...

Payton and Company will come up with something (i.e. Kreutz) or know something already (i.e. Tennant)...

With a report fron NFL network sometime later today The Saints will announce the signing of C Olin Kreutz will make Mickey Loomis the class Validictorian of 2011. I give him an A++

No, I'll definitely give him a pat on the back because he is putting us in place to get the lambardi...he could have just sat on his a$$ and did nothing, but he's been wheeling and dealing to to get us the right people. The question is how did he do getting the right people here so we can win another SB. He has done an amazing job

Overspent on Roman Harper(.) No other team would have paid that much for Harper - so why guarantee that much money?!?

Equivalent or better Strong Safeties were available; why guarantee a white elephant of a contract?!?

No way you can't give him an A or even A+. First, best draft in team history, second, best UDFA class in team history and third, best FA class in team history. This is by far, the most talented team ever fielded by the Saints organization.

I'd rather look at his entire body of work to this point.

Loomis and Payton have built one of the top NFL "Systems" in probably the shortest period of time.
