When is the last time (someone gave up a first round pick), has that even ever happened? For a guard? Maybe if I was a quarterback, Tom Brady in his prime, maybe."

Those long term discussions with the Saints have not yet occurred, he said.

"No, and I feel like that's the best way to do it right now," he said. "Just be back to football, be back with my teammates and focus on the task at hand and that's win the Super Bowl."
