The Official 2011 Hou-Dats Thread (Houston Saints Fans)

Its time to begin a new Houston Saints Fans thread.
We are the Hou-Dats -- the Houston area chapter of WhoDat Nation.

We got some new members, good ones too! We continue to get bigger and more interesting each season.

Our new hangout for watching Saints games is Ragin Cajun on Westheimer @ Gessner. Some of us are "banned" from the old hangout-- that makes 2 things I'm banned from.

A number of us go to the Dome for the home games, myself included. So lets keep in touch, as we caravan down I-10. I have contact info for most of us.

Our first order of business is the Tailgate at Reliant. We're already getting things together. We'll be talking more here very soon.

If you're a Saints fan in the Houston area, feel free to join us. How's everyone doing? Whats for dinner?

I'm not 100% sure yet but I may have a couple extra tickets for the game.
As it gets closer to game week I'll keep you posted. Oh did I mention they would be free or you could just buy me a beer.

Buds, (J) you rock!
Ragin Cajun sent me some their special for the 49ers game, but I dont know how they would be able to show the game, because its that old
preseason-local N.O. tv thing. We go thru this every year in H-town, not being able to see the preseason games.

I did suggest we might could get together for the replay on NFL network.
Will start more tailgating discussion soon. We'll see what we have and what we need.

Have they said anything about the tailgating out there at Reliant this year. You know they made that law last year after the Cowboys and Texans game.

Found This From last year:

Texans' new rules limit tailgating | Houston Texans Football | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

Citing the more than 20,000 fans without tickets who jammed into Reliant Park during Sunday's Cowboys-Texans game, the Texans said tailgating will be limited to game-ticket holders and to fans who buy one of 2,000 tailgating passes to be issued for each contest.

I still don't know how all those people got in there without tickets. Reliant parking is pretty tough to get in at least from my experiences.

OK, I now know that I have a green parking pass. Anybody know where that's at?
