this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; And to further add to my point, this is how good Cutler is at evaluating talent: "He is going to be dynamic for us," Cutler said. "He is very steady, very consistent in his routes. You know where he's going ...

And to further add to my point, this is how good Cutler is at evaluating talent:
Chicago Bears: Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler may have found his man in new wide receiver Roy Williams - chicagotribune.com I guess Cutler doesn't include actually catching some balls in the category of a WR being "steady" or he means that he is steady at dropping balls. |

After spending some more time on the Bears boards, it seems that a vast majority of the posters actually seemed fine with Kreutz leaving the team. They mostly stated that Kreutz wasn't good the past two seasons and couldn't compete with the NT's on that division anymore with the likes of Suh and Williams (but who can?).
They also claimed that Kreutz had major problems identifying blitzes and was getting pushed around rather than creating a push himself, also according to them he usually chose the wrong guy to double team. With the uncertainty on their center, many weren't against the idea of resigning him, but not at 5M/y he wanted - closer to 2M-3M/y which they thought would be a fair market value for him. The fact that the Bears offered him 4M/y was done out of appreciation of what he's done for the franchise in the past - that is according to them. They didn't feel like any other team would pick him up, and that he might return to the Bears at a reduced salary or retire all together. Kreutz could still provide leadership, but they felt it wasn't enough anymore to justify his shortcomings in other areas. |

The rest of the bears line is not very good, which is going to make him look like he is playing bad. Picking up blitz's is also the QB's responsibility. That's why you need a good Center/QB relationship. Jay cutler is not very smart, he just has a cannon.

Rex Grossman is a smart QB, he just is not the best passer. He is kinda like a Trent Dilfer type player
