Few if any men who sign contracts at this stage of free agency will cash in. But that doesn’t mean that they won’t be finding jobs.

Defensive end/linebacker Matt Roth, a six-year veteran who started 16 games in 2010 with the Brown, is drawing interest from the Saints, Broncos, and Cardinals, per a league source.

Roth previously worked out for the Patriots. He has said that he prefers to play for a winning team.

As opposed to those players who prefer to play for losing teams?

Kind of a hybrid OLB/DE guy. He could be a versatile addition in terms of pass rush and run support. Does nothing to sooth my fears in terms of coverage.

I think he's a good player. He's a tall LB like Fugita was

I don't know anything about him BUT if he played in the football "Black Hole" it is not wonder!!

trust me, you dont know as much as you think you do.

roth is one of the most underrated players in the league. he was one of the few bright spots on the browns. he is more of a DE than a LB but we play a lot of 3-4 sets anyway so he would definitely have a home in our defense

I dunno man, can't we get David Lee (Roth)? He always did have
a good tight end.

canton u see the guy play a lot so lets do it. i have seen him a couple of times and he might be a good addition. i like him in the draft too
hybrid so what. our dc does not believe in that labeling crap.
