Even if one completely ignores what Williams has said about Junior after the season and coming into this one, just the sheer fact Smith is going to be suspended for 4 games or so... it's pretty unlikely that we'll cut him.

While I don't think he's going to become a world beating pass rushing specialist(I do think it's over the top for someone who hasn't done anything yet), there's nothing wrong with giving the young man some praise when he's performing well. He is donning a Saints uniform after all.

Fair enough... he certainly deserves some praise for how well he is doing in camp.

My point is simply to keep things in PERSPECTIVE. If this kid comes out in the regular season and playoffs and makes things happen, I'll heap praise on him.

So if he does good will you eat your keyboard?..:p

I'm in total agreement with Canton on this one. Gallete hasn't done anything except go against camp bodies. Still, he is an interesting player and deserving of his own thread.

Hopefully Galette will have a breakout year although it isn't likely he will even see the field unless we have injuries.
