That "Bus" Song
 

I know this is a slightly "strange" topic for the boards, but I'm just hoping the new "United Way" ditty this year is not full of dirty birds with Mike Smith trying to smile, looking like he just ate something that didn't agree with him. (Now that was scary and nauseating at the same time)!

C'mon....y'all confess....you know you hated watching that during commercial breaks all the time! ;)

It was promoting kids and exercise or something like that....my jury is still out on WHY, the year after WE won the Superbowl, they were using the birds as their promo team for this campaign??? Sometimes I just don't get it!!! Who wants to see Matt Ryan, Mike Smith, and a bunch of dirty birds stinking up the tv every commercial break? Enough to make you run for a bathroom break every single time!!! IMO, they need to class it up!!! ;)

It still runs non-stop on the NFL Network :puke:

For two months they ran their top 5 receptions of the year with the Lance Moore tip TD against the Ravens at #4.

That was cool, but I knew what was coming next.
Now they are running the top 5 rushes of the year, all day.

And I still wonder why Drew's Play 60 commercial lasted all of 6 months, but the Falcons one keeps on going. And Going. And Going....

Anything to do with that team I hate.

All I have to say (besides "take that stupid commercial off") is "here we come to get you!" No holes barred!!! ;)

I think it was because of the song, or whatever they call it, included the line "falcons... falcons.... falcons, falcons, blood stripe falcons!" in it.

There is one thing that makes me laugh hysterically at this commercial: Art Blanks head shaking like a bobble head, along with that cheesy-ass mustache. For some reason or another, as much as I hate the commercial, I find myself stopping to look just to see that part.

I'm weird I guess.

.... Besides, it gave us something to mess with after we beat them toward the end of the season on Monday Night Football. I love the version that has the bus going off a cliff and crashing.

That commercial is why some wise soul invented the mute button, bathroom breaks and beer sitting in the refrigerator in another room needing to be fetched.

Kinda strange I have only seen the Falcons version of that twice, I see the one where the Packers are getting on the bus after a blow out playoff win and they are playing that song, but not the other one!

I was curious about this song when the Play 60 commercial first came out, so I did a little youtube research/surfing and found some "live" performances of this band "The GO! Team". They are absolutely horrible live. Their music sounds like somebody kicked a baby grand and a trap set down flight of stairs.
When we STOMP the ever-livin-pajeezahs out of the Falcons on ESPN on MNF Dec. 26, they should play this song in the Dome.

good intentions (get todays, fat, lazy, useless kids to get off their butts)
bad execution (used the Falcons)

What we learn from watching this video:

First, subject choice is important (Falcons?!?)

Second, audible music that doesn't sound like a Voodoo Ritual

Third, Arthur Blank has no rhythm

You guys forget that Saints were the first one's to do the Bus Play it 60 Commercials (THE SAME YEAR WE WENT TO THE SUPERBOWL) I have a feeling Faican'ts are doing it now to see if it would bring them good mojo like they think it brought the Saints..
Their QB didn't get to play with the President on the front lawn though lmao!
