He made some great points. The only things I think he got wrong were: FIRST came the injuries then " Drew Brees wasn’t the same player he was in 2009, Sean Payton wasn’t the same play caller, and Gregg Williams’ defense wasn’t as opportunistic. " Because it's tough to be great when everybody and their mother knows you're gonna throw (on a gimpy knee no less). That leads to really good field position most of the time for the other team which causes some problems for the defense.
The other thing was him worrying about the loss of Goody. I think ol' Kreutz is gonna be manslaughter-in-the-first there in the middle. Great article thanks for posting it up. |
