getting tired of that song, people know they can run a song down man.. smh..
I absolutely despise Ying Yang Twins and this song redundantness made it worse. |
I still like the song. But those dudes are from ATLANTA.
I think the "theme songs" should be by local artists. Ain't like we don't have talent comin' out our ears! Two come quickly to mind from recent history that I thought immediately should be heard regularly in the Dome from the moment I first heard 'em: Backatown- Trombone Shorty.wmv - YouTube DOWN - On March The Saints - YouTube And don't even say Li'l Wayne. That little ***** bet on the VIQUEENS when they were playing us for the NL title. 'Never forgive that PUNK for that ****! |
The song will always be associated with the SuperBowl Victory and there for they can play it for me anytime.
I love it. http://chzallnighter.files.wordpress...ng-than-me.jpg |

They only played it after the firstbtouchdown, which was weird.
Also, the pre game video before the team came out was horrible. It was a vid of them during practice. Practice?? |
Don't want anything associated with Atlanta to be associated with my Superbowl...
But i see ya'll liked the song without even knowing where Ying Yang Twins came from or cheer for.. They are die hard Failcon Fans and even though they wore Saints Jersey's in New Orleans to sing the song they went back to Atlanta radio stations and said when Atlanta play New Orleans they cheer for Atlanta, When they are in their city (ATL) they ware Failcon Jersey's, they are born and raised Failcon fans, But they were not going to pass up an opportunity to make money and possibly another shot at getting back into the rap game so they stole credit for a song that was re-written by a New Orleanian. Sadly all they used Saints Victory and Fans for was their own greed. The Song was originally re-made re-mixed by a New Orleanian that just rapped over the beat but to avoid legal troubles they agreed with Ying Yang Twins agents to allow them to perform and get credit for the song (That they did not write).. they didn't even know the lyrics to the Saints version they just showed up and allowed K. Gates (The original writer of the Saints version) to rap it or they would lip sync it and dance around. I Liked Dee-1's Drew Brees Song "Drew Dat" and a few other Local Rapper songs, but those were less commercial so less heard around.. New Orleanians have a problem with supporting local talent so i decided to go looking for good New Orleanian made stuff instead of whatever the rave was. |
