Thats what I'm saying. Goodwin is a very good center. It's everybody else around him.

In defense of the Niners line, they were playing against Gregg Williams and the New Orleans Saints. They were bound to get mauled.

On a more serious note, they actually have a pretty strong interior line w/ the addition of Goodwin. Their two guards can get nasty and Staley is a solid tackle. They're learning a new system and have not had a regular offseason to gel because of the lockout. Defenses are typically ahead of offenses early in the season. They should have a pretty good run blocking line when they get on the same page.

Why didn't Goodwin start at center, is he not the 1st team C for them? I mean Kreutz hasn't been with the Saints any longer than Goodwin's been
with them, but still he started for the Saints.

On another note, Tennant looked solid to me.
