Run with a lower center of gravity which will help with the tackles to the lower body and be more susceptible to going down when there's nothing more
to be gained in a run instead of milking out every possible yard 'cos those pile tackles where the runner is forced to stand up and then the pile falls
on him are where many RBs hurt themselves. I mean those are just few examples, but I'm sure professional coaches can do a lot with a young
guy like Ivory if he is just willing to do the work required. After all the way he runs is not coded to his DNA... it's just the way he has learned do to it
along the years.

Ingram is the Saints best all around RB. Hands down. Not even close. He has potential greatness barring injury. It will become apparent as the season goes along. PT is a very good #2 RB that does everything well. Not great at anything. Sproles is a very good situational RB. Ivory has all the skills but will never be healthy.

I don't know if anyone remembers who Chris Brown was but Ivory profiles a lot like him. He did have multiple thousand yard seasons but his violent running style made him injury prone and gradually no one wanted to take that chance with him anymore.

Furthermore to my previous point... This would be a great year for Ivory to take a step back from the game and work on his running technique,
conditioning, and muscle fitness. He'll start on the PUP and if f.e. the Saints were able to move him to the practice squad - he could
concentrate on those aspects, since barring any injuries to the RB corps, his contribution wouldn't be missed as much this year. I read an
article where a NFL RB - can't remember who - talked about how he started doing Pilates as part of his muscle fitness program. And
according to him, Pilates helped him to strengthen his core muscles, which helped him a lot in improving his running balance and also it apparently
helped him to stay injury free. That could be something Ivory could try also..?

Reggie Bush did that a couple years ago.

The article that I was referring to was definitely not about Reggie, but if he has done it also, then it would seem that it is something that can help RBs in general.

I mean Pilates is really good for anyone who works out, it allows you to get more reps in while decreasing the chances of injuring yourself.

I can easily see Ivory starting the season on PUP and then coming in healthy for the rotation. And unfortunately we haven't been able to keep our running backs to stay on the field so we maybe needing a fresh set of legs coming in later.

Hard to disagree with this logic.
