Sorry to see him go. Strief and Brown will probably compete to be starter now.
So does this mean C. Brown is ready. I mean Barron is not the answer at RT after what I saw him in Dallas. I like Strief, but im not in love with him. Im going to trust the coaches on this one, but from where im sitting at it looks like we are in trouble. Now is not the time to mess with your O-line.

Wow... wowwwwwww. This came from left field. Hopefully Strief is ready to step up to the task and perform better than he did against the 49ers. He was terrible.
Good luck Stinchy... solid RT when healthy. He never got any credit around these neck of the woods. |
So apparently Coach and I agree that the Team has had enough of him getting his ass kicked out there. So all we need is to loose the shanle and loomis gets his exec of the year in Villain land
This was a move to save Brees..lol..he can only make them look good for so long ..Stinch just was a liability..and i know everyone would rather have Drew upright than staring at the stars..
I wouldn't worry too much. Stinchcomb has been a good player but it's not like he's irreplaceable. Strief has been a solid contributor and can play either side. Worst case scenario we're looking at some journeyman like Jordan Black or George Foster at right tackle and with Brees' pocket presence that will be enough.
Both of them have plenty of starting experience... definitely a plus.
Fantastic. Sorry that a good guy, teammate and leader had to go. But he HAD to go. He is 1/10th the player he was in 2009. He likely contributed to brees injury last year and the regression of the offense. His preseason outing against SF merited no further consideration. I hope Atlanta picks him up.
Whoa! I bet he was more surprised then we are. Good guy too. I don't disagree with the move, assuming ofcourse the FO has a plan. But I wish him luck.
