It will be a tough game but completely winnable. I think our D will stack up really well against the GB offence and the main issue on our O will be to give Brees enough time to let him pick them apart.

Here is one advantage the Saints have in that game: Sean Payton really wanted the HC job in Green Bay that former Saints' OC Mike McCarthy got. Even though Payton is not playing in that game, he has extra motivation in play calling.

The Packers have a good team and will not have to travel to the competitors field. Lambeau field is homefield advantage. We may be looking at 2-3 new starters on offense and 3-4 on defense.
Having said that if Payton can get us "together" we should be able to win that game. Regardless it will be a litmus test for the Saints newcomers. |
