Thanks Stinch!!!
I have followed you since your days at Georgia. You didn't always get the love on this board, but you were a true Saint. You were the leader of that offensive line and a leader in the clubhouse. You never turned a fan away, especially a young fan. You took the time out to laugh and talk with everyone.
The work you put in to be a pro player will go unnoticed by a lot of fans. Because, in this profession, it is what have you done for me lately. A lot of fans think you will land somewhere else and have even wished you the best of luck. But, I bet you will go on to another chapter of your life and be just a successful there. Best of luck BIG STINCH. |

I'll second that. Hell of a classy, nice guy and will always be one of my favorite Saints.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if somebody picks him up. When healthy, he's too good not to be on a roster. |

I was definitely tired of his poor performance on the field, but I definitely echo the sentiment that he was a great character guy and I definitely appreciate what he did for is in his 2009 pro bowl season.

He has dropped off lately, but I still don't want to see him in the NFC south.

Class guy and class player. Wish him the best of luck going forward.
Wonder what this does to our tendency to run the screen to Pierre to the right side behind Evans and Stinch. Do we now run it to the left behind Nicks and Bushrod? Or do we keep right behind Evans and whoever is playing RT? |

I approve of this thread. He took a lot of grief considering he helped us win a Super Bowl and got to the Pro Bowl. He certainly declined last year and in camp this year, but always thought he got trashed more than he deserved. Seems like a great guy who played on the best teams this franchise has ever seen. Best of luck Stinch.
