He is a braggadocious loud mouth who is always in trouble and showed up to camp weighing 400 pounds this year, which is why he was released in the first place. His community service is superficial at best and he is showing no signs of being like Anthony Hargrove or Jeremy Shockey.

He sucks and is a douchebag to boot. See: getting kicked out of the Pro Bowl a few years ago.

I'd rather have Max Starks. He's only 29 and has championship pedigree and no real injury problems. He would fit in immediately.

Actually, Strief is plenty ready enough for starting at RT. He will do fine this year. It's Brown who is still light years away from being ready it seems...

He's 6'8" tall. Weighing 400 pounds isn't really that bad for a guy that tall.

It would not surprise me if the saints brought him to check him out.
