The New Orleans Saints' most depleted position at the end of last year has become their most dynamic position.

Newcomers Mark Ingram and Darren Sproles have been two of the most impressive players throughout training camp.

The Saints traded up to draft Ingram with the 28th overall pick in April, and so far, it looks like they got a steal. The 5-foot-9, 215-pounder has flashed a combination of power, elusiveness and breakaway speed Ñ and more than anything, a knack for making his way through traffic. Although the Saints will use a time-share at tailback, Ingram looks capable of 1,000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Again another position we are deep at.. Teams need to be deep in this area.. RB's just take such a beating anymore... If we got 3 getting 10-15 touches a game look out..

Touches per game

Ingram = 15-20, We know what he did in college, so lets see what he can
do in the NFL

Thomas = 15-20, If we can keep him healthy should have a solid year

Sproles = 5-10, This guy will be great in our offense, little screen passes,
sweeps around the end, what we needed to replace ah
what's his name. Oh yeah that's right Reggie..

Full Back = 3-5 Just enough to keep defenses guessing. Middle screens,
and an occasional hand off up the gut...

WR's = 1-3 Well we do try to do that reverse around the end every so
so often..

QB = Well I hope he doesn't have to...

GEAUX SAINTS!!!

It's also kind of soon to say. I know I haven't seen it yet, but I believe it. Ingram is the real deal, but if he's stacked up before he can pick his hole, his success will be limited. If Sean Payton keeps stacking 2,000 lbs. of meat on 3rd-and-1 or 3rd-and-goal from the 2, that conversion stat is going to be dismal, again. Even if we run on 3rd and short, it should be done from a spread field. I believe every one of these guys can fight a better fight for short yardage if they are able to pick their spots and power through the gaps, and teams are unable to stack the box on us. If we can get a good push up front and establish the run, pass blocking is going to be a "Brees". Looks real good on paper.

It doesn't reflect well on you to keep dogging Reggie.

He helped us win a Super Bowl. Thanks Reggie.

Some of you sound like Patriots or Colts fans... or even worse
FALcan'ts fans....

Stop already, would ya?
Focus on the good stuff & don't whine about spilled milk. Thanks.

Two dat, says I.

I don't see a huge difference from last year. I just hope they all get to stay healthy. Then the backfield will be as dangerous as they come.
