Of course, at some future point these examples might resemble incredible longevity. New Orleans tops all these instances of accelerated turnover. Three years ago, the Boy Scouts won the first playoff game in franchise history. As the 2003 New Orleans season ends with a whimper, a mere three starters remain from the playoff squad. It's been only three years, and practically everybody is gone. Saints management rapidly, methodically unloaded almost every player from the club's first-ever postseason success. After all, they had violated team policy by winning! |
