this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Im sticking with 12-4. I think it will be Saints and Green Bay in the NFC Championship game with home field at the Dome. If we do have home field its over for any team that steps in!...

9-7
Too many turnovers, too many whiffed tackles, too many quality opponents. 2x Panthers Lions Vikes Titans TB away Jags Manning double No playoffs. But I'm willing to negotiate. |

The Lions won 4 games in the preseason and then went 0-16. I don't care about any results right now. I think we win atleast 11 games in the regular season, might be more Bucs and falcons are key-matchups.

I hate playing bad, but the saints playing bad is still better then most teams.
Saints did play very poorly, but its not like the Texans suck. They are going to win 10+ games this year. But even then, until I see how we play in the Green Bay game is when I will get excited or worried. I can understand jumping to o, we are going to have a low record this year, if we lost this way to the panthers are some below average team. |

Barring injuries, 12-4 is certainly an achievable record

Our shedule is much tougher than last year (on paper).
I'm gonna go with 11-5, NFC South champs and #2 seed in the NFC, barring key or excessive injuries of course. |

Anyone saying 4-7 wins, I have to question their football knowledge. We have upgraded on paper, we were 11-5 last year with substantial injuries, and most of our tough games are at home. Silly to be putting this much stock into a preseason game. I careless what our preseason record is. As long as we are healthy on Sept 8th.

Whew. My 9 wins is above the "justification cut."
O-Line issues DB health issues LB quality issues WR drops issues Ok, there. I justified. We play very clever teams this year. My bet is they exploit those weaknesses. |
