We need an offensive line to protect him so he's not running for his life on every play.

Even when Aaron HAD time, he still wouldn't practice the
most basic football aptitude skills which would have allowed
him to become a halfway decent QB. He was more worried
about being able to run like his cousin up in the ATL than
he was about learning how to throw a pass correctly.

Disagree. Brooks wanted to be a pocket passer. Generally speaking there was rarely a pocket from which he could pass. And for all his lack of skill and 'football aptitude', with him at QB we were scoring 30+ points a game. The problem was we were giving up 31. Was he Drew Brees? Not even close. But I'll always believe he was capable. People pick him apart, but we had a damn good offense back then. If only our defense had been average...

I tend to agree...but oh man wasn't 06 nice..thank the lord ... A.B had talent no doubt..i always thought we should have a good D with a DC running the show..it was opposite..lol..no eye for D talent back then..or coaching..

Brooks wasn't the problem then.

Easy scapegoat for those not paying attention.

i believe in desperation times u have to go with the underhanded acrobatic last gasp for the win. but all other times the ball should be protected like a pro he is and has done in the past. come -on man
