could it be that we are just beating the daylights out of each other in practice. GW what i understand don't cut no slack to no one. it has to be tough to run someplays out there. looks like alot of injuries are at practice with little going down in real games. just saying

When practising full speed for a long period injuries are gonna happen. Knees will swell, hamstrings, achilles will be sore, people gonna pull a groin or the abs and so on, especially when practising in really warm weather.
Last year before the Euopean Championship we practised with the Swedish national team in 100 degree weather for almost a week, two a days, at the end most everybody was banged up and aching but a couple of days rest and lighter practise before games started had everybody ready to go. Most of these things gonna be minor but out of 90 guys there will be a couple who get an injury that will require a longer rehab or surgery but I think we'll be fine. |
Mark Ingram (knee) returned to practice Thursday, as expected.
Ingram came down with swelling after Monday's practice, and the Saints opted to rest him for a couple of days. Coach Sean Payton is confident that Ingram will be fine for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Source: James Varney on Twitter |

Head coach Sean Payton said he expects rookie running back Mark Ingram to play against the Oakland Raiders this weekend even though he has been missing practice since Saturday's game with some knee issues.
Payton said Ingram would likely practice Thursday and play Sunday in the nationally-televised tilt. "Our expectations are that he'll be a go," said Payton. Ingram was far from the only player sitting out practice, Payton said the following players missed work Wednesday: Ezra Butler, Tom Johnson, Johnny Patrick, Jeff Charleston, Fabian Washington, Will Herring, Chris Taylor, Aubrayo Franklin, Clint Ingram, Roger Allen, Jarred Fayson, Carl Nicks, Mark Ingram, Junior Galette, and Mitch King. http://blackandgold.com/saints/35688...welling-3.html |
