A moment to laugh
For those who have never heard this before or read it :
There was a Bucs fan, a Saints fan, and a Falcons fan. They were headed to Pakistan. They were going on the day of the last games of the 2003 NFL season. They just realized this, so they decided to find a way to see the Bucs game (which came first, so that the Saints and Falcons fans could see the bucs lose), even though it was against the law (in Pakistan) to watch an american broadcast. Well, the falcons fan was scared, like he always is because he's worried his team won't make the playoffs. But the Bucs fan wasn't scared at all. He brought them to a room with satelite, dvd, mp3, wide screen tv, and everything. So they started to watch the game. Well, sure enough, the Pakistinian police caught them and dragged them to a Pakistinian priest, who was to give them the punishment, 20 whippings on the back. He chose the Falcons fan first. The priest saw the fear in the fan's eyes, so he gave him one wish. The fan chose to put a pillow on his back. The pillow helped, but after 10 lashes, it went out. Next came the Bucs fan. Now, this fan was smart, so he acted scared, and he got a wish, too. He chose 2 pillows on his back. But, after 15 lashes, the pillow went out. Finally, it was the Saints fan's turn. The priest noticed that the fan was a cajun boy, and he could see how loyal he was to his team, and gave him 2 wishes. So, the fan said, "Two wishes, eh?? Well, for my first wish, I wish for 100 whippings". Well, the priest was astounded by this wish, but told him to make his 2nd. So the Saints fan looked at the Falcs fan, then the Bucs fan, and said "Yeah, tie those two to my back". |

A moment to laugh
After Florida coach Steve Spurrier passes away and enters the Pearly Gates, God takes him on a tour. He shows Steve a little 2-bedroom house with a faded University of Florida banner hanging from the front porch. Steve looks at the house, then turns around and looks at the one sitting on the top of the hill. It\'s a huge 2-story mansion with white marble columns and little patios under all of the windows. LSU flags line both sides of the sidewalk with a huge purple and gold LSU banner hanging from the balcony.
\"Thanks for the home, God, but let me ask you a question. How come I get this little 2-bedroom house with a faded University of Florida banner, and Nick Saban gets a mansion with new LSU banners and flags flying all over the place. Why is that?\" >God looks at him seriously for a moment and then replies, > >\"That\'s not Saban\'s house, that\'s mine.\" Also.....did y\'all hear that John Carney attempted suicide after his botched extra-point? He had the rope around his neck and everything, but when he went to kick the chair out from under him, he missed. :P |
People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.
