'09 vs Pats/ '11 vs Pack. Drew????
I can't help but think that Drew loves a challenge.
The build-up to the game vs the Patriots was all about: The Saints are playing well, but: "Can they overcome the Juggernaut that is Tom Brady? I think Brady is the best QB in the league. He may be the best of all time. That night Drew and the Saints embarrassed them. The build-up for the season opener this year features the "Flavor of the Month" Aaron Rogers vs the "Perpetual Underdog" Drew Brees. I think Aaron Rogers is one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL right now, but I am alone in thinking that Drew gets a little pissy and raises his game in situations like this? I predict another perfect QB rating from Drew in the opening game! btw, please save all of the "can we stop the run" comments. I am talking about Brees' performance (predicted) alone in this thread. |
I'm no one.
Who are you? |

With our newfound running game, I'm thinking that Drew will be able to keep the Packers defense somewhat off balance.
And Drew always seem to "rise up"(for lack of a better term) in these big "underdog" situations. And we have A LOT of passing options, I'm thinking Graham will prove to be the kryptonite needed... |

I was thinking of Grahams' catching ability. Being able to keep the safeties/LBs on their heels, making the screens that much harder to defend. David Thomas as well, but Graham seems to be able to get down-field a little easier
