It's like saying, "a few dropped passes are OK since its pre-season, we'll just do it right once the regular season starts". That's just crap! If we don't get fundamentally sound, look for Seattle playoff type performances from our defense on any given Sunday. The only thing intricate schemes will give us is a free lunch or two from the weak or unprepared, but in the long run, it will just expose some other flaw in our armour.
