Pricey but I mean... you just show up and it's less hassle. Though if you're a non-drinker, I don't see it as being worth the money. I could easily drink half of the cover and there's plenty of food for me to munch on. If there's live entertainment, though still a little pricey, I could see it being worth it for me.

I always "pregame" on Bourbon Street and then head to the Dome. I get to harass more opposing fans that way.

I have NEVER been to a Saints home game (one of my huge regrets up to this point!) BUT I have been tailgating.
For me 1/2 the fun is hanging out with the fans in the parking lot. There is a great feeling of friendship & comradery (sp?) you get your.... whatever on hang out with some crazy people & head in to the game wired for football! But maybe thats just me! |

You could always message strato, skymike, or B_Dub and see what they're doing if you don't want to go that route Ashley. They're always doing something.

We always go to Allegro's before the game which is a block off of Poydras between Loyola and S. Rampart just south of the dome. There's a DJ and bars set up but we always bring our own and gather under the couple of trees they have.

I could see myself paying for that. I mean if I would fly over from Sweden for a game that would be a small sum compared to the rest.
