It's 'put up or shut up time' for New Orleans Saints roster hopefuls
Adrian Arrington is running out of chances, and tonight might be his last.
For three preseasons, Arrington -- a 2008 seventh-round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints -- has teased coaches, fans and even players with glimpses of his big-time playmaking and pass-catching abilities. Nagging injuries have always seemed to keep the receiver from realizing his potential. Stacked behind a group of talented receivers who are entrenched in the Saints' high-octane offense, Arrington is just one of several Saints players who'll look to impress coaches tonight when the team hosts the Tennessee Titans in the exhibition finale at the Superdome. Many of the Saints starters will not play, including quarterback Drew Brees, who'll pass the duties over to third-stringer Sean Canfield.
